Great post. It reminds me of this amazing sentence from Daisy Pitkin’s labor organizing memoir On the Line

“And if this writing is a practice of longing for an uncomplicated ‘we,’ for a ‘we’ that is not in need of ongoing examination, let it resist any telling that pretends one could exist.”
