The marketing team wants me to put together a launch team, and people on the launch team get a free hard copy of Becoming Kin one month early! Since you are paid subscribers you’re getting dibs on this request. I’m hoping to build a team that covers Canada and the US so if that is something you are interested in please email me before May 30.
This is for promotion of the book, so if you are interested think about where you might be able to promote the book or influence people so that they’ll purchase a copy. In addition to the book we’ll give you images you can share on your socials and ideas for how you can help promote it.
Let me know these three things:
The city and state or province where you live
Your social media links
What kind of community or social group you are a member of (ie. church, soccer team, etc)
After May 30 I’ll open it up to all subscribers.

I’d love to help promote your book, but I’ve never done such a thing before. I live in London ON and my socials are Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. My social community is largely within Western University where I know many people in the high levels of administration, especially in the school of medicine. I also have an extensive EDI network that encompasses all Ontario research hospitals. These are the sorts of people that most need to read Indigenous history and writings. If you think I could help you, I’d be thrilled!
